The Cella Family Fund endowment has been created to help Murray High School graduates participate in education abroad programs through Murray State University.

Over $40,000 in donations and pledges has been raised in an ongoing triennial fundraiser to support grants for teachers, students, and families.
The Dr. Arvin and Martha Crafton scholarship fund has been created by friends and family to help Murray High graduates attend MSU.

The most recent scholarship added to the foundation’s regular offerings is the Connie Payne Scholarship, established in her memory by classmates and friends.

The foundation has created the Brad Barnett endowment and a scholarship in honor of retiring superintendent Bob Rogers and his wife Gayle.

The MHS Athletic Hall of Fame Fund has been added to the foundation's list of endowments.

Over $45,000 in donations and pledges was raised during the 2014 Triennial Fund Raiser. The funds will support mini-grants, development and enrichment grants, and tuition assistance during the next three years.

Focusing on Excellence is the theme for the foundation’s triennial fundraiser. The goal is $50,000 in donations to support grants and tuition assistance. Donors may contribute online in the Donations section or mail checks to MISD Foundation for Excellence, P. O. Box 1417, Murray, KY 42071.

Thanks to the generosity of the friends of the MISD, we have disbursed to students and faculty more than $34,000 in scholarships, grants, and awards in 2012-13. The Endowment Program now has assets of more than $200,000. The newest of these is the
Burgess Spann Travel Fund which, beginning in 2014, will assist students to engage in travel abroad.
